will a v6 grill fit a gt bumper
No. Well not without modification anyway. Others here on this board have tried it and been unsuccessful for the most part. Im pretty sure the problem is that the V6 grille is smaller than the GT one and will be too small for the grille opening with the GT bumper.
Yes they do fit. My coworker put a V6 pony grill in his GT and it does fit. Mind you it requires a LOT of jerry rigging and modification but it does fit. You basically cut all of the tabs off of the grill and have to make up some custom brackets for the bottom of the grill to attach to something. Otherwise it will just swing freely. To fill the 1/4 gap around the edges he used black vinyl door weather stripping from the Homedept to fill the gap. Looks real good. From 5 feet away you would never know it was a hack job.
Oh, on the GT cars, you have to hack off two of the screws on the fog light housings because it hits the sub assembly on the frame. V6 cars don't have this brace so no worries there if you put a GT bumper cover on a V6 car.

I successfully installed a V6 Pony Grill/Lamps in my 07 GT recently. I can be done with a minimum of fabrication and in about an hour's time with basic hand tools. The wiring harnesses are the same, so it's plug and play...

Here's a close up under the hood, so you can see that it all looks factory. Brackets are hidden from view under the radiator cover. Simple swap with just a minimum of fabrication....
