valve covers
You guys that have had your covers powdercoated.....
I know you have to remove the oil fill neck, but did you remove the black circular piece located beside the fill neck for the wiring connection? What about the metal vent tube? I can't figure out how to remove these two things.

the black circular piece located beside the fill neck for the wiring connection simply pops off. use the handle of a hammer and tap them from the inside out. the metal tubes stay. Just mask them off.
Use some simple green to clean the valve covers off really good from the inde and out. This will save your powder coater some time and reduce the cost.
