The BRS spinners ARE awesome
And Bob at BRS is really great to deal with!

Agreed!
I took a quicker and much cheaper approach. I used a 2" Brass Sliding door handle on the inside of the spinners. You need to take the wheels off to install it, but once it's in place, there is no way to remove the spinners without removing the brass handles; and you can't do that without removing the wheel. The spinners can turn freely when on the car so you can get access to all of the wheel lugs.

I've seen similar mods with PVC pipe caps but I found that they did not fit as well. If you want, you can try other altenatives. I took one spinner with me to Home depot and tried several items that were of the same diameter as the inside ring on the back of the spinner. The brass door handles happened to be a perfect fit in my case..
It's a great mod and the door handles cost less then $3/pair at Home Depot. It's a good way to make sure the spinners never come off. (unless you want them to)

After much spraying and cleaning the vomit is almost out.
Won't happen again.
It has come to my attention I need a car for kids to ride in. My 12 year old can barely fit in back anymore.

It shouldn't matter. The brass door handle fits inside the spinner on the back side of the wheel. The idea is to keep the tabs from being able to be compressed. This keeps the tabs fully expanded and hence the spinner can not be pulle out as long as the brass door handle is holding them in place.
