V6 to GT grille conversion

After my new V6 arrived, I started to hook-up the GT grille, and stopped almost right away. With the Street Scene grille now available for holding the stock GT fog lights in the stock GT position, I have abandoned the idea of force-fitting the made for the GT grille into the V6 opening.
The only problem is that I’ve been waiting for a month to get the Grille from Street Scene. The best guess is that it is going to be another month until it arrives. In the mean time, I have my wiring all ready to go:

I just read this whole thread but i'm still unsure about this - can the existing wiring on a V6 with Pony Package fogs be used for the GT fogs? If so, I'll just buy the GT fogs and grille and I won't need the wiring harness, correct?

Yes, the Pony Wiring will work on the GT Fogs.
No, the GT Grille won't fit in the Pony Bumper.

My understanding is that you will also need the GT inner fenders and some misc. hardware. But yes, it does greatly simplify installation if you use the GT front fascia!

Or you can just order this:

I am looking to not go through all this modification hassle to get the gt look. I have looked on the latemodelrestoration site and it says backordered till mid april but who knows how accurate that is and I have seen a post to check out axcelerated motorsports but they have not responded to my numerous phone calls and emails. I like the street scene idea but i dont like the small honeycomb pattern and i definatley am not a fan of the price it would take to set that up. Has anyone heard about a different kit? Does anyone know how long those grilles will be backordered for? I appreciate the help!

I have one of the GT style grilles on order from latemodelrestoration and they seem to be on the same boat as the center fog lamp grilles for the GT... Latest news is that they *are* en route to them and should be shipped out to us customers shortly... They say they should get their shipment by the end of the month (but then again, they thought they were getting them by the beginning of this month, so who knows)... I am eagerly awaiting this grille, since I have the GT fog lamp switch all ready and just ordered what I believe to be the wire accessories from Ford today, I can't wait to see if this will all work like I am hoping it will!
