toyo proxe 4 or general exclaim uhp

im going to run 295/30/20 and 255/35/20 on my new wheels (Fx9") (Rx10.5) and i was wondering about these tires. the generals are a little cheaper and i have a friend that is running them but he isnt lowered either. my 06 will be lowered on eibach pro's. i have read about general having a soft side wall but have also heard about people having issues with toyo.

so, which ones?
toyo proxe 4 or general excalim uhp?

No idea on the generals, but I have Proxes on my 06 GT. Never any trouble whatsoever out of them.

I have the Generals, 255/35-20s. It is a softer side wall, so not as bad a ride as you'd get out of 20s normally, but might be a problem with the 18" size. Fair amount of treadlife from them, sorta hard compound, so not the greatest grip out of them. Pretty quiet overall. Decent quality, though, made in Portugal for what it's worth. Cheap, too.

Oh, and they're not all season, I think the Toyos are. They're M&S rated due to the tread design.

Toyo T1-S or Continental DW perhaps instead?
