HI,

I Just ordered a new set of rims for my 05 GT. They are Billit 18/9 deep dish.
Any suggestions on which tire to get, it is a daily driver so I need wet/dry traction.
Not looking to drop alot of cash so cheap to mid price would be fine.

Thanks

I had never heard of these tires, but the write up seemed pretty positive as far as cheap rubber goes.

I'm not much help...my tires cost more than the rims did.

Welcome to the forums!!

Same boat here. Just received my Mustang Tuning 18x19/18x10 Deep Dishes. I'm leaning toward: BF Goodrich KDW-2's(255/45 front and 285/40 rear) or Nitto 555's(255/45 front and 295/45 rear). If you have 18x9's all around, you have more options than me. Many people have chosen the 255/45 for the fronts if not all the way around. One member here, sorry I forget his name, has 275/40's all the way around. It also depends if you are going to lower the car. Many have the BFG-KDW's and they are a very solid tire. Well spoken of. The Nitto-555's are too, although I'm not sure if they are quite as good as the BFD-KDW's. " Tires are a pain to figure out what you want. It was easy, for me at least, to pick out rims. Many people have put 255/45 all th way around. These are not cheap tires, but do you want to be getting a cheap tire? You could try Falken, they might be cheaper. Also, a lower tire models from the major manufacturers. Goodluck and have fun!

I just ordered steeda ultralite 05 wheels with michelin pilot sport tires yesterday , I would say those but they are pretty expensive, you should look at the nitto extreme zr radials, they are a very nice tire and not that expensive.

Go on tirerack.com , they have a nice selection!

I have a set of the Nexen 3000 tires on my car, 255-45-zr18 and i love them. Really inexpensive but great traction dry, good traction wet and no traction snow( store my car in the winter) You cant go wrong for the money.

Heck yeah, I have alway's wanted those rims but thought 400$ a wheel was a little expensive for 18's. I went on the site yesterday and saw the price drop and hopped all over it. Can't wait !!
