I have to agree with Dave. I hate saying something negative about a guy's car, but I think you're looking for honest opinions here.

That's so rice-y it should be served with chopsticks. I'd go with the Silverhorse panel instead. The only advantage I can see in the RK one is it might be a bit easier to clean.

I just think the SHR panel looks cheap.

Paint it black if you do anything other than this.

I definitely disagree there. The honeycomb rear panel looked good on the '70 Mach 1 (not "cheap"), and I think that styling cue fits the updated 'stang nicely.

Looks good to me , just because its made from CF doesn't make it rice. I'd rather have that "new tech" material than cheap plastic on there IMO. on the cleaning part.

If I didn't have the SilverHorse Racing honeycomb panel, I would have probably bought one like yours. It would be rice if it were the whole trunk lid or hood.. I think it looks just fine. Relax man - if you like it - that's all that really counts..

I think it looks good with the silver. Any other color I might be a little more hesitant though. At least its not screaming "LOOK I'M CARBON FIBER" and it just more of a subtle texture than anything else.

Looks good on your car. I have the smoked black panel on mine, others have the honeycombed panel. It is a personal touch ,after all we all don't have the same paint colour, do we !

Anything you do to the rear to make it black or dark is an improvement over stock. I just have black vinyl.
It looks fine on your car, I like it as much as the one CDC makes. Havent got to see the Silverhorse panel up close and personal yet, but will pretty soon as Im meeting a TMS member who does have it .

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I think I'll be keeping it. I like the way it retains the contour of the trunk panel and it does complement the Satin Silver paint. I didn't even think about the cleaning aspect until it was mentioned!
