what is the biggest width of tire you can put on the stock 17in rim in mm

I think the biggest I have seen anyone do thus far on the stock rims is 255. You might be able to get more on there though.

I wouldn't go any wider than the 255

go with 255/50/17 to keep the speedo accurate.

Anyone know what happend to that fancy wheel/tire calculator that was at bigwheels (I think that was the site) that let you compare every aspect of a wheel/tire combo?

Check the spec page on Tire Racks site , for the tire you are considering . Tire size does vary per manufacturer.

will most of the ford rims with the 4.5 bolt circle fit on the 2005 like the mach1 rims

They will technically fit, but the offset is all wrong. I think on the 94-04s, the offset was around + 25mm. The 05s are upwards of + 40mm (i think even 45), so they will bolt on, but they may stick out of the wells and look like crap.

The Mach 1 rims fit fine, not sure about the others though.
