Steeda front splitter pics needed

I am on the fence regarding the style of the Steeda Front splitter. Will ANYONE with this splitter please post some good pics.

NOTE: if you have a BLACK coupe or convert, you may post pics of another chin spoiler, since I would like to see how those look on black car.

A lot of people have the CDC and the GEF racing/Legend splitter, so I have seen all of those in good detail (but not on black cars). I am *considering* the Steeda carbon fiber one, but not many people have the Steeda splitter (CF or painted), therefore I haven't really seen some good pictures of them...hence why I am starting this thread.

Before everyone asks: please don't provide "commentary" about available splitters. I have looked at most everything out there, have done the pros and cons of each, and I have my own reasons for preferring one over the other. Each person has a reason that they chose something....to each his own. I am just requesting pictures at this point.

So: any BLACK car = post pic of your splitter. Any colored car w/ Steeda splitter = post pic.

Thanks in advance.

That looks nice. I like how the front is black, but the "base" is body color

Steeda Front Splitter

It's been on since June 2005. Has held up pretty well (Needs painted again, stress cracks). In Pittsburgh, I have to watch the clearance. It has been scraped many times underneath, but it gives about 1/2 inch which is good. Very easy install, 2 screws.

It is also good as a shovel! I was going to take it off for winter, but I would really miss the look.

I have always loved the steeda front splitter but it seems a little much $$. How much lower does it make the front of the car

Those are some nice pictures on some great looking cars. I also have been considering another chin spoiler/splitter since I sold my CDC classic. I like it better than the Legend.

Interesting. I have seen that one before. Are the standoffs from Shinoda and made specifically for that chin spoiler, or are they "universal".

Thanks everyone for the pics.

In case you haven't seen my other post, I have decided to attempt a GT500 chin spoiler install, as I like that style the most, and it's also CHEAP. If that falls through, I may come back to the Steeda CF splitter.

Dvaphex, I have a similar issue with mine. A curb was a bit to high and I tried to get too close; as a result I have a few small stress fractures that need to be fixed. So goes life, I guess. I can say w/ confidence that I still love the look of it and would take it off no matter what.

How much do you think it is going to cost me to get the paint cracks fixed?

Also, where did you get that Steeda badge on the front of your car?

I have a friend that charges me very little over cost of paint. He said the yellow paint is expensive. They would probably have to shoot the whole thing.

I got the steeda oval badge from steeda:

I also removed the GT emblems on the side and put the steeda oval emblems in their place.

You have any pics from the side? I have been thinking of doing something very similar.
