Thanks Jeff,

I installed the adjustable panhard bar at the same time as the springs. The springs threw the rear out by 1/2" in my case.

Thanks for the clarification on that. So, if you are going to be lowering the rear, either by using new springs or cutting them, you need to have the adjustable panhard bar to correct the rear. Darn, something else to save up for, but the look and performance of the car will make it worth it in the long run.
Thanks,
jeff

I'll assume no one will sell just the rear springs by themselves.

To answer my own question... Yes. Steeda will. $70 each spring.

wild stray which way did the rear shift? Right or left? (or which way did the car shift on the axle)

The reason I ask is because mine seems to be shifted to the left already so in thoery the srpings could bring it back to center. That is to say, the left rear tire sticks out more than the right.

Stangnut, is the panhard bar mounted to the body on the left side?

If it is, I think you're right, when you lower yours, it should shift towards the right.

Mine shifted to the right 1/2". When the rear is lowered, the stock panhard bar will always push it in that direction. Make sure your non-stock rear wheels are the same off-set as you want to align the pumkin and not just make the rear wheels look right.

I checked the wheels. They are all the same (+36mm) offset. I'll check the pumpkin itself next time I'm under the car.

I cut exactly one coil off the rear springs and that lowered the car 3/4" in the back and leveled it out. I did this almost 4 months ago, and have had no problems whatsoever.
