I got my G2 Paint Kit yesterday, and am going to try to do this later tonight, or tomorrow morning. Its the Blue paint kit, for my Vista Blue car. I'll post pics of the completed project when I'm done. I know several want to see how close the blue caliper paint is to matching the car. Can't wait to start this.

Which kind of dupli-color brake paint did you use? The one with the kit with a brush or the spray can?
I've done my calipers on my Camry and the calipers and drums on my Dad's Corolla with the spray kind, and it's held up so far. The only prep work I did was to wash the area with store brand brake cleaner and dry it off with some shop rags. I figure, they would be the test vehicles, before I try anything on the pony.

Zep Products makes a product called "Zep Off". We used to use it a garage I worked at years ago. Just spray on and the paiint bubbles off. I dont knwo if you can buy it retail, as think of the fun vandals could have with the stuff, but if you can get your hands on it it will work. Only issue to beware of is I wouldnt want to get it on seals and such.

I'm done my G2 Caliper painting!! Let the calipers dry overnight before putting my dad put the wheels back on this morning, and can't drive it till Friday evening. Haven't seen them since I finished. The car is @ my parents house (dad has a garage, AND a above ground car lift) I'll be stopping by later tonight after work to install my new SS center mount fog light grill. I'll take some pics tonight in the garage, and outside the next day. Can't wait to see how they turned out. Pics tomorrow in a new topic.
