I like the window sticker you have framed in the garage. Reminds you of what all those payments are about...LOL.

Well thanks to the help of Oklacop and KC... I am on the way, Does this mean i'll be conversion #4? He, He..... As soon as i get word on when my parts are due in, I will post some pix of the process for those interested.... My Mustang is Black, so it will be a little different. I plan on doing the rear of the car as well after the front is finished. Cool thing is this might modivate other V-6 owners. Unfortunately i am told there is a nationwide backorder on hoods right now, Kevin had me order my Hood and front chin spoiler locally so i would not get killed on shipping, everything else is coming from him. I'll know more on Monday after the e-order go's thru at my dealership.
As well, for anyone who might be interested, i will have a 06 front end and hood availablr for sale in black.... Hopefully Soon!
Whoops, Sorry did not want to leave out Rob! Thanks for you help as well! Looking forward to your help during this conversion!

The stock hood WILL WORK. My Steeda hood works better because the posts don't stick out as far but the stock one will work. I do all of my own work and investigated this for myself.

And thanks for all of the kind words. I have been down on the forums for a while becuase I got promoted and it has taken a ton of my time.

The only mods left are custom heads and cams from Steen Racing, Baer Brakes and some custom seats.

I'd encourage everyone to stay away from the ebay guy if you want to do this mod. Just as 2L8 said, the stock hood will work. My front end was installed with my stock hood still on and I opened it and closed it several times and it worked. Like I said before, I emailed the ebay guy and questioned his front end package and he never responded because I do believe I busted him by asking questions that I knew the answers to that he didn't want to answer. Go w/ KC. You won't be disappointed.

thats why i'm glad i found thiis forum.... otherwise i would have wound up going with that guy originally. I would have got slammed w/ overpriced stuff, and killed (about $500) in shipping costs! Kevin was very informative.... Man! he knows his stuff!! I plan on finishing out the entire car with him....

Funny thing is yesterday, the e-bay guy called me to let me know he had hoods in stock. Thats when he told me after i said i was shoping that the stock hood Would not work w/the front end alone.... Guess he figured i already found parts elsewhere and was trying to sell me somthing!

Thanks man, and by looking at the stock emblem it does appear to be imbedded. I will tell you that that emblem is HUGE!!! Compared to my Mystic and 03 Cobra logos that thing is 2/3 bigger.

Car looks sharp! Thanks for all the pictures and the write-ups. Waiting to put them for some good use when my parts arrive from KC and the local dealer.
