Replacing a Fender

Not sure if this is the proper spot for this, so if any admin see's this feel free to move this to its spot.

Hey guys, after a recent "run in" with my garage, I'm left with a dented passanger side fender. It's dented and creased enough that repair just seems like it wouldn't be worth it. My main question is has anyone ever just gotten a new fender, painted and installed it, wondering how much something like that would cost, it seems that I can find one online for about $100 painted already. If so that could simplify my task greatly if I would be able to order it and install it myself.

Thanks for any help.

I actually need to replace one on my SN95. I've heard that junk yards are a good place to score one cheap, but the little bit of looking I've done has been more like searching for a needle in a hay stack. I'm not sure about pricing online, but I can say that $100 pre-painted seems like either a great deal or a suspect part. I would expect paint alone to run about $100.
