I removed mine after about 2-3 months. Mine were peeling off by themselves, so it was pretty easy. From all the questions I asked on here, there was one common response...............heat up your garage or wait til a warm day. It will make life much easier.

It can be very difficult to get them off. Just keep on warming them up and peeling. Go for the edge as much as possible as you go around the stripe. then as you peel the chunks off you go to the next edge that was lifted. If there is no edge lifted you have to get it going again. there were a few areas where mine were hit with a buffer before i took them off and those were the hardest to get off.

yah vinyl stripes suck, they looked awesome at first, now after just a year or so they look crappy. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about doing, not too, and just hold out for the paint job. I was quoted not that much more to do the paint after I had already done the vinyl, i paid with labor about 650-700 bucks if I remember right, and the guys that did it told me later well we could paint them for about 1200, so just save your money and get the real deal. vinyl sucks.

Yeah I know, thus the genesis of this thread! I'm patient and persistent. I've removed other vinyl graphics in the past and had excellent success letting them get toasty warm in the sun, then following up with a heat gun as necessary.

Hmmmmm, that sounds like a real good idea,To late for me to try that but you should spread that word around. If anyone tries this let me know. The body shops would love an easier way
