Given the "retro" look of the '05, especially with the stock "Bullitts" . . . does anyone else think that redline tires would compliment the look?

I've been digging around and it appears that no one makes a decent size modern tire with this feature. I found some in 14 and 15 inch sizes but nothing larger.

Here's an example . . . .

Stockton Wheel and Tire

http://www.stocktonwheel.com/SWSTires1.htm

REDLINE TIRES •• Also available in Blue, Green, or Gold Strip
P195/75R-14 24.80" 5.30" 7.91" $156.00
P215/75R-14 25.91" 5.84" 8.70" $166.00
P225/75R-14 26.46" 7.17" 8.98" $167.00
P205/75R-15 26.34" 5.57" 8.19" $167.00
P215/75R-15 26.89" 5.84" 8.70" $168.00
P225/75R-15 27.44" 6.11" 8.98" $170.00
P235/75R-15 27.93" 7.50" 9.55" $179.00

Then I ran into this . . . .

The guy did them himself, here's a URL to his "How To" page . . . . . .

Thoughts, opinions, comments, any other options out there?

Yeah, I thought so too . . . . . may just give it a swing on a tire I don't care about while I'm waiting for my ride to arrive.

Those red lines remind me of the one's that came with my '65 2+2. I guess Stockton Tire just has replacements for the old wheel sizes.

Yup, that's the era . . look . . feel I was thinking of . . . . . can't see stabbing 15 inch wheels/tires on to do it though . . . . even if they would fit.

You'd have to put them on a red, or black tone car for them to look right though...

Thanks TrickSixtyFive . . . . they are exactly what I was looking for.

My car is black codeman94, I agree they'd be better on certain colored cars.

Woody1 . . . . . . to each his own . . . . . I liked 'em then (showing my age) on some rigs but I'd have to see one on my car to pass final judgement . . . today.
