I would like to add rear window louvres to my 2005 coupe, but am concerned about visibility with them on. Does anybody know if the louvres degrade visibility?

Some, I think its 3D's kill visibiltiy by blocking out the entire window.

Edit: I thought you meant the side windows, didn't read carefully.

no. the rear quarters are quite worthless anyway. the huge side mirrors help greatly with blindspots. i have the roush louvers.

Well, my buddy had rear louvres on his Honda and when I was in it I never noticed any diminished visibility.

Just make sure their firmly attached... his flew off on a highway one day (of course that's likely because his car was about 15 years old and in crappy shape - other than the engine - those things last forever). He saw them shaking in the rearview, looked and saw them go airborne, landed in the middle of the highway and a Big Rig ran 'em over, he floored it and disappeared into traffic.

EDIT - you may have to bold the fact that you are talking about REAR WINDOW louvreS
