I really like the louvers but have not seen anyone on here who has bought and installed them.

Plastic or Metal?

Where to buy?

I've only come across two metal versions in my searches, one from MRT
http://www.mrt-direct.com/2005/Pages/louvers.php

and others made by Astra Hammond
http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST10612.htm

I have YET to see a picture with either of these on, and I really need to see a side picture. I'm trying to do a '70 Mach 1 look, and I think louvers on the rear glass would really help pull it off.

Well, MRT can kiss my buttocks....I aint' paying $400 plus shipping ($90)....

Astra Hammond has no idea when they will have theirs in....Sandra said the manufacturer keeps saying 2 weeks...2 weeks...(now into August)...

I have seen a few pics......I guess they are the plastic ones (yech) but I do remember a Yellow V6 with a set who said his were definetly metal (MRT?)...

MRT's are aluminum but I don't like how the top panel sits so high above the body line. Too bad more people are not making them. As for Urathane ones, I would be afraid of them warping after a few years, but if they didn't I'd get them instead of aluminum. They won't rust. Also I recal someone in the forum that got the aluminum ones and something was wrong with the welds.
