Those are DEFINITELY NOT the same badges that people are buying off ebay for $300+.

 

boy I hope the paint on them doesn't flake right off like a lot of the other emblems seem to be doing on the trucks.

My thoughts exactly. I would have bought as many as I could have when they were selling for $50 and then resold them a pair at a time throughout this year. Would have been a great way to come up with the funding for the future Whipple.

 

Just unreal! Lets factor in time, a year from now what do you think they will go for "IF" they are still un-available????

 

Ok well after looking at the bades from the original post, and the badges I posted in the link (i posted a pic of both of them down below, the first being the ones i just found, and the second pic is the original), I realize that they are not EXACTLY the same badges, but they are **** close. I was just trying to help people out who wanted those badges but didnt want to pay the riduculous price of $300 or so for some badges...sorry for trying to be a nice guy.

 

Those are the Scott Drake emblems Eric. If the Scott Drake ones were the rare ones, people would probably be rabid about them too. The plastic SGT emblems are better looking, but certainly not worth the insane price tag they carry now.

 

Shelby Autos will eventually sell the emblems. That's my theory anyway. When I bought the SGT ones for my car I should have bought at least a couple more at least for spares. At a recent ca show lots of guys were taking pics of the emblems on my car. It kinda makes me worry when i leave the car in parking lots.
