The price seems good, especially for PIAA lights. But, I don't know how easy the install would be. Since it includes wiring, switch, and the whole 9 yards, I'm wondering if you have to rip out the factory stuff to put these in.

A much cheaper alternative: Silverstars.

Also, there are enough issues with our Fog/Driving lights causing people to flash at us... These will just be that much brighter.

Sounds like the functionality of the original fog lamps change to driving lamps. These are completely different in light dispersal pattern and as Mike says, having driving lamps in the traditional high beam location will only cause headaches as almost all oncoming traffic will be letting you know you've got your high beams on, even though you don't.... IMO, don't get'em.

i already get flashed all the time, i got yellow fogs and saleen hids. wouldnt you be able to just hook these up to the factory wiring, since they are both using the same wattage? i am thinking of getting the piaa housings, and a yellow (3000k) hid kit to slap in them.

another question. has anyone figured out how to keep the fogs on with the highbeams? on my yukon, it has a 4 light system, and it would turn the lows off with the highs. i was able to get all 4 to stay on with the highbeams by adding a relay jumper thing. anyone figure it out yet?

It would be simple. All I need to do is spend a couple of minutes with the headlamp and fog lamp schematic. FYI, it's illegal.

I recently installed the agent47 headlight buckets and am looking for a solution for converting the fogs to headlights. has anyone done that yet?
