Are you guys sure about Torch Red? It's not Redfire, that's for sure, but somehow it doesn't look like Torch either...

My friend just called me from the LA Autoshow, and he said that the car looks amazing. He says that the kit is OEM quality, and he thought that the price of $3,100 for kit, install, and paint is more than reasonable.

Definitely the best bodykit so far. Sets the car off without being too gaudy.

That's not Torch Red, guys... but I like it it's better than Torch (which I don't like too much) and Redfire (which was my favorite until I saw this car)

I know for sure that this car is a factory color. The lighting and camera make it look diffrent. The body kit is availble right now for the V8 model. It will be available for the V6 model within the next 4 weeks.

you can get the kit for $1400 unpainted so I don't see some paint costing $1700 for a few parts

actually- if you shop around you can find them cheeper than $1400.00 for the kit. Also, you can purchase the parts seperately so if you just want the front facia, you can just do it.

allright, kit you can get under $1000, installation will run you between 1000 and 2000 depending the shop you use, Ford will ask more than $2K just to fit and paint. an average body shop would run you $1200 to $1500 with a clear coat...... i'm just going through this right now...

I wonder how much 4 sets of rear lights cost...

No idea why this particular car brings out these ideas....

Hey - did anyone find out how much it costs to push in the headlights to the center?

P.S.-is anyone actually making longer taillights - not quite like the ones from DiamondBlue's photoshop, but that length - classic style?

According to the folks at Galpin Ford, the car is Torch Red.

Actually, I just called Galpin Ford to ask that very question. It's a 4-hour install, and they have to do it at their shop. I asked if they could send me the parts so that I could do it where I live (Northern CA), but they said "no".

Install plus parts = $595

Does anyone know where to order a grille set-up like this one without having to go down to So. CAL?

I have posted this before, but Street Scene is working on a grille shell that will allow you to put a GT look- with lights on a V6- Street Scene is also working on the center light kit for both the V6 and the V8 like the Galpin Ford show car. All of these applications use the GT factory fog lights and will be available very soon. Pictures to be released in about a week.
