Ok, seeing as I don't feel like getting 18's I was wondering, when it's time to change my tires I want to go with something other than stock.

I want to stick with these brand tires, Nexen, and was wondering what's the widest stance I can go. I want to go really wide. I am assuming the 245/45/17's would be my best bet, for the life of me, I can't remember the stock tires that come with he GT's.

Anyway, if Nexen's dont cut it, I may step up to the Toyo Proxes. Any thoughts?

 

Nexen is a cheap tire, so cheap, I'd be afraid of them. I've heard of people getting them brand new with broken cords. Also heard they suck in the wet, hydroplane city.

 

Try toyo tires instead. And choose the Proxes T1-R, there is a huge grip on those tires as compared to stockers.
