Need a 2005 GT Wheel Yes/No

I'm looking for some simple advice concerning wheels/tires.

These are the wheels I'm looking at:
http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...=ST185051445HS

20" x 8.5"
45mm offset
5/114.3 bolt pattern

As far as I know this will fit a 2005 Mustang GT. They're also available as 8.5's with a 32 or 38 offset and a 9.5 with 35mm offset.

I'm not too sure if the 45mm offset is pushing it too much, but I know it's right on the edge of where it should be. If there's any question I'll probably go with the 38mm offset just to be safe.
Also, I don't know what the basic difference would be between a 8.5 and a 9.5 wheel. Obviously one's wider, and I'd need a wider tire, but is the 9.5 even possible on an '05? As far as I know the 8.5 is.

Here are the tires I'm looking at:
Nexen N3000 255/35ZR20 97Y(686x255, 27.0x10.0)

Now, I have absolutely no idea what that means. It was what popped out of a matching system for wheels/tires when I put in the Stern wheels.
If there's something better I could get and I just need to follow those specs I'm all for it.

I know I want those particular wheels, but I have no idea about the tires. All I did was use the http://www.rims-n-tires.com website to find a with the wheels I wanted.

So if anyone can give me some basic info on how likely this is not to give me problems, I'd appreciate it. I'd rather just be sure it'd work before I ordered it than to try and do something fancy with it.

Nice choice in wheels, I have the same in hyper black. Waiting to paint mine the same as my side stripes. If you get them you will have to by a spacer for the fronts atleast, the inside of the rim is not deep enough for the bearing cover to clear. If I remember correctly I used basic 1/4 inch spacers from Pep Boys. Cost about 10-15 bucks. It depends on how you want the wheels to sit in relation to the lip of the fender. I have the 19 x 8.5 with the 45 offset, so the relationship from fender to tire is the same. Im probably going to get 1/2 inch spacers all the way around to bring the edge of the tire closer to the lip of the fender. If you want some more pics just shoot me an email and I can get you more this weekend. If you dont mind how much are you paying.

I haven't quite gotten to the price part yet. Right now I'm using the rime-n-tires website just to get an idea of what tire/wheel combos work.

I think the setup I'm going to go with is this.

Stern ST-1 Beast
Front: 20x8.5 ET38 PCD 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
Rear: 20x9.5 ET35

NT 555 low profile Ultra High Performance tires
Front: 255/35ZR20 97W (686x255mm)
Rear: 275/30ZR20 97W (674x275mm)

I don't know that much about wheels and tires, so it makes it alot easier for me just to pick something that I know works. Besides, I know I want 20' ST-1's and I like Nitto tires and their 555's get good reviews, so I'm not worried about the quality. This way I know FOR SURE that I won't have problems getting them on. Plus it's a staggered look, which I like.

The price on rims-n-tires, on this whole set, is
$3,128.94.

I'm sure if I shopped around for a while I could beat that. I know I can beat their wheel prices of 480/495 with another website.

The 9.5 inch rim with the 35 offset should push the tire out about an inch. Here is an offset calculator if you need it. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp You can also tie a weight or nut to a piece of small rope (kite string) and tape it to the fender wheel above the center of the rim and measure from the string to the tire to see how much space you have with your current set up. Post some pics when you get them on. You also have to see them when driving, the spokes just about disappear, all you can see is brakes. Totally sweet looking.
