Got my windows tinted friday after work. Doing felt strips tonight.
15% all around. Had 10% on my '95, I must say I like this better. Besides, the 10% had turned purple (cheap film!).

We were just talking 'bout how you might not need the felt for the newly built '05s..
I, for one have put the window up and down a number of times for about three days and its still fine....
Oh and BTY car looks gorgeous

Yea, I saw that thread, but mine is the old-style hard window seal. Even before the tint, I didn't get scratches but I saw the little lines on the window that could become scratches. I will feel better being safe than sorry and go ahead and felt them.

Yeh, we need to hookup sometime. I'm working on a project you might be interested in, pm me. I get good compliments one the rims/tires. Most everybody likes that they are almost even with the outside edge of the fender. I just need to lower the rear about an inch to level it. The felt I got at Michaels Crafts. Not really strips, I couldn't find any. So I bought a sheet of 8.5x11" black felt sheet with self-adhesive on the back. Not sure if it will work, but I'll see. I also have a roll of the fuzzy velcro half of here, not the stiff side, that may work better than the felt. I'll let you know.
By the way, recognize the spot where those pics are from?

Nice tint!
That is one mean green machine!
I would love to have my windows tinted that dark but it is illegal in VA.

It took about 10 days of using the windows from time to time before the odd scratch showed up on mine. I am willing to bed the tint will scratch on the newer Mustangs if you don't put the tint in.

Looks
Wish the cops here were that easy.... they harp on the dark tinted cars. :notnice: if they cant see your license through your window, while pressed up against the glass --- TICKET!
