Thanks Sean,

I am considering this panel from AM. It looks like a satin black but I think its glossy judging by the customer photo's. I am thinking that a gloss black panel may work well with these lights.

I noticed that too. I saw an ad a little while back..."Get them at the low introductory price before the new year!" I was a little worried how much the price would jump, but that's not too bad.

I think that they can keep them for $400, I could find better things to shell out that money on.

My backorder just shipped today. I was on the fence and decided the week of Christmas to pull the trigger after seeing the little note about the Jan. 1 price increase. Even with the intro price and the forum discount, $350 is a little much for tail lights. Oh well, just a little less for my kids to inherit some day

And BTW, I blame Bob for me spending the money on this mod. I had been off the forums a while and he sent me an email about these new tail lights and went on about how they would look great with my Saleen bumper.

I order mine on the 31st because of the announced price increase and expected to have wait quite a while, but I guess I lucked up and timed it just right since I got my tracking number yesterday

Yep that's the same one. But what I did cuz it's a lil see thru I plastidiped the back side of it till I couldn't see thru it anymore and it's totally blacked out with the outside glossy. Gotta love the dip. Lol

I got the one of American muscle as well, that's why I asked because it looks the same.
And yeah, when I pulled it from the box I was surprised that you can see through it.

Curious as to how it would look on my windveil blue..
Might have to go your route and make it less see through.

Check it out on you car without the plasti dip. To me it was like a smoke color on the car. I wanted it Blacked out. Figured if I didn't like it I can always peel it off. But I love how it came out.
