Need a replacement windshield

I have the worst luck!! I went out to my car today and there was frost on the windshield, so I went into my garage and pulled out my scrapper for the first time. I scrapped the window like I have one many occasions, but this time something went wrong. When I got into the car, I noticed scratches all over the drivers side of the car. Yes, my plastic scrapper had put scratches in the windshield. I got home and tried everything I could to try to "buff" them out, but nothing worked. I am not looking for a new windshield. I have a 0 deductible on my comprehensive, so it's not a big deal. My question is though will I lose the pony near the mirror?

That's etched into the glass, isn't it?

I am going to definetly demand I get it. It should come with the OEM windshield I would assume.

It is in the glass, I just had to specify with or without the pony. I do not know if there was a price difference as no pony was not an option.

Thanks for the information. I will definetly specify that I want the pony. Any problems with the replacement piece?

I had to replace mine due to rock chips from a tornado and they told me it was $400 for the pony $200 without the pony. I have a $100 deductible on comprehensive so i got the pony since that was what i had in it from the factory.

Of course, the Pony OEM glass is more expensive than an aftemarket replacement...then again PPG makes some very good glass and sometimes they are even tougher than the OEM...so it's your choice...
