Yeah Justin so glad to see the long awaited pics of your black beauty. That hood is awsome and really tops your car off right. I'm loving what you got going so far, Im sure you'll have more cool mods coming. I finally got some extra money coming my way I can play with so I'm watching what everyone else is doing and planning my mods .

Looking at your car with the stripes on the hood now, Im wondering if it would work to have stripes start at the scoops, as wide and spaced as they are, and then follow all the way back down the rear?I dont know if that would be too wide or look strange, Ill have to play with photoshop and see if I can make that to see how it would look.

fantastic car......Where did you get the hood, I did a google search for RK Sport and could not find them on the net.

What type of striping did you use? were they painted on?

Thanks

Do Google search for RKSport without a space.

Thank's Runfox! I now have 3 hood's, the other stock hood I bought just didn't work out right... :bang: I saw this hood and it was perfect. The scoop's are functional and you can feel it at high speed. Next up will be CDC's classic chin spoiler painted gloss black with the stripe's runing down it as well. Then the SS center fog grill will go on. I think the stripes as wide as the scoop's would end up a little "camero'ish"... Photoshop it up and see how it look's.

Thank's You can also order the hood from www.lmperformance.com or www.californiamustang.com. I ordered mine directly from RK Sport. My stripe's are vinyl and the guy did an amazing job.

Nice. What is the height increase of the raised areas on the hood?

About an inch and a half over stock. It look's good from inside the car.

Finally got around to taking some pic's. The hood was installed on Friday and went very well. I have an appointment Wednesday to get the Motive 3.90 gears put in.
Any pics of UNDERNEATH the hood? I've heard this one feeds a CAI directly. I have the C&L with filter enclosure and this sounds like a good "fit". How was fit and finish?

The under side of the hood had a good finish. I had my body shop finish the underside of the hood and it came out great. I did not re-install the insulation as it's a dirt magnet. The C&L filter lines up very well below the opening for the fresh air. You can feel the extra air flow at high speed. I'll take some pic's under there when I get a chance...
