My Mineral Grey Stang w/ Hood Pins & Black Stripes
Rich... I'll see what I can do. Might not be able to until next weekend. But basically, I drilled the holes into the frame of the car where the hood pins where going to be, thinking that I would have enough room to bolt them down, but they were too short. If I had bolted them at their highest point, the holes in the pins for the clips would have been slightly hidden under the hood of the car. So, I placed the pins in the holes, with a nut threaded onto the pins holding them vertically at the right height, and welded them in. Then, I just painted the weld. Eventually, I'll try to find some sort of black rubber or plastic cover/sleeve to put over the pin and hide the weld.
Acadian, it looks fantastic!
I justed noticed you used 1" spacers on your rims. They look really good pushed out.
I'm hoping to get wider rims and achieve the same look eventually! Pushing the rims out really seems to make the wheel/fender gap look smaller. Its not that bad stock IMO, but it looks even better with the spacers.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm trying to make it as retro/Shelby'ized as possible. I will be getting a ducktail of some sort and then eventually painting the stripes on. As well as possibly a new hood with a scoop, depending on what's out when I get the stripes painted.
