MRT rear window louver rattle

Does anybody who has a set of MRT rear window louvers on there stang have a rattling problem. When I am on the highway going about 70mph, the rear louvers rattle and its getting a bit annoying, I usually have to turn up the radio to drown out the noise, but it shouldn't do that. If there is anybody out there who had the same problem and solved it, please let me know what you did??

Thanks in advance.

Had a rattle coming from my roush ones I had on my past V6 I fixed it by installing some thin 3M tape in the top right, lower right corners and in the middle of the back. You will have to figure out where the air is coming in a making the rattle, since they are not part of the car and air can get in the seam. hope this helps.

were your louvers, rear aluminum louvers, or are you talking about side window louvers, before i put tape on( which actually sounds like a good idea) I want to make sure we are talking about the same kind of louver. Thanks.

I've got the MRT/Visus ones, but have no rattles with mine.
I did read somewhere that the weld on one of the slats had broken on a set & the owner used JB weld to repair & touched up the JB weld w/black paint.
Check the welds on your slats.

Broken Clip

Mine were rattling and I found that one of the clips on the lower part of the louvers had a crack in it. I had to order a new hardware kit. No rattle so far after that, but it cost me 60 bucks.

what i decided to do was take a piece of double sided tape and put it on top of the pin on the bottom bracket, that the clip clips around. It seemed to of closed up a tiny gap, which made them rattle in the first place. I hope this helps, hope my explanation isnt to hard to understand.
