I ordered their black billet grill on sept 23rd. Got a automated receipt email but that was it. I emailed them on the 29th as I never got an email regarding shipment. They said it would be shipped on the 1st of Oct. with a tracking number to emailed to me on the 30th.

I heard nothing and received nothing. I sent an email sunday night obviously requesting an update on when the item would ship.

Anyone else have problems like this? If the item is on back order, just tell me, I'd be totally understanding, but a pure lack of communication and unkept promises are another thing.

 

I got a Body Kit from them once (6 years ago) for a 93 GT. It didn't fit right and the quality of the fiberglass was krap. I ended up selling it to another member for about 25% of the original cost. He was a "Bodywork Man", so he was able to make it work on his after hours and hours of "fixing" it.

 

I have heard bad things about their body kits but I havent ordered from them before.

 

I ordered from them one time (never again) with a similar experience. The only way I was able to get answers was to call (emails were never responded to). From my conversations with them I got the impression it is a 1 or 2 man operation run out of someone's home or garage.

 

Well they finally emailed me back with a tracking number. Supposedly it got shipped out last thursday. I am to get it this thursday. Hopefully the quality of their part is better than their service.

 

They have 2 locations, one in California, and one in Canada about 2 kilometers from where I work on Vancouver Island (Victoria). I have never dealt with them but I can tell you it is a small shop and always busy looking when I drive by it with various vehicles being tricked out.

I think they do fairly well through large, expensive advertising.
