After really looking at various different colored Mustangs on the street, I realize that none of them look okay with the flat black mirrors. [to me, anyway.] I've always assumed that they would look fine on a black car. The stock mirrors really don't blend with any exterior color...IMHO.

Are you happy with the quality and finish?

Overall, yeah. There's a nick on one of 'em and a line of paint missing on the other but I was the idjit who put them on (at night) without properly inspecting them first. I love the look and I think the car looks cleaner with them.

A couple of days ago, I noticed that my wife struck the garage door frame with the passenger side mirror cover while backing out. It didn't look good. While I contemplated the cost of Vapor touch-up paint, I grabbed a wet towel and tried wiping the contractor beige paint off of the cover. All of the beige came off but none of the vapor did. This never happens.
