Memphis Window Tinting
I just got my tax refund back and want to make my first of several planned mods to my car. I decided on getting the windows tinted. I'm in Memphis, TN and have no clue where to take it. I've heard horror stories about tinting, so I ask if anyone has any recommendations on who to go to around here. I haven't seen anyone on here that is from memphis, but thought I would ask anyway. THanks ahead of time.
I got mine done by Tennessee Tint Company....6496 Summer Ave, No. 105 Bartlett. They use a computer program and a tint cutting machine to precisely cut all the peices. Little pricey but with a lifetime warranty, I think its worth it. Cost $200. Mine was installed 7/22/05 and have had absolutely no problems
Got 15%.

Thanks, I was beginning to wonder if I was going to get a reply from anyone. Do you know the maximum tint you can get? Also, how long did it take them to do it? Can you get it done on a saturday?
If you want a really good clean job with a no hassle warranty go to Custom Shades on Summer ave. mphs. tn. Robert Lucas is a God when it comes to tint. I have had him do dozens of cars and he is a perfectious. Tell him Alan sent you. My Body Shop is also on Summer and I know the rep. of both and Robert is the best. I will post his Phone # tomorrow if you are interested.
Thanks Fastang. Quality is definitly high on the list when it comes to who I will get to do this. Price is next. If you can post the number that would be great. I looked for a web site, but no luck. Do they have one?
That might be an idea. If they don't have a web site, do you think they might be interested in a trade-off. I'm a web programmer and have done tons of web sites for every size of business.

I thought 30% was the maximum legal tint on the front windows, unless they've changed the law. I'd think the tinting places would be able to confirm. If you're in the city, then I don't know if the annual inspection would be a problem or not.
