made my decision, now needs tires

gonna be ordering these vossen wheels and i need your opinions on tires. i would love to get some 315's but they only come in a 35 profile and im not sure how good that would look because i DO want the profiles to look the same and not have more rubber in the back. so maybe a 295/30 in the rear and a 255/35 up front. i saw toyo proxes t1r in a 305/30 and would love to get them but they are soooo expensive. little help here?

my vote would be to get some general uhp's. Great tires at a decent price. Discount tire FTW.

We just did 19x10 rear Vossens and are running 285/35/19 with a nice fit. 19x8.5's up front. T1R's are very nice, I have had a couple sets that can do *some* double duty n street and track, although they are primarily a street tire. That said, still smoked some cars last year at Barber wearing them on our #05 car, and didn't chunk the tread or have any real problems as long as I didn't overheat the fronts and get them greasy.

it might end up being general...hmm? would a 295 be okay on a 10.5" wide rim? they are reverse lip and i dont want the wheels looking too skinny. gahhhh i want the 305 toyo proxes t1r's so bad they are just so expensive!

what kind of warranty comes with those toyo's? I don't like toyo tires. I had some proxy4's that I had problems with and recieved very little help from them. I know were talking two different tires here the t1r's are much better than the 4's.

slap those 305's on there. Hell yes.

Have you considered trying onlinetires.com? Some good deals on Nitto 555's and BFG KDW's.

My kdw II tires are incredible, not sure if they make them in a 305 though.

The generals feel much better than the 4's no doubt. Long story short toyo does not warranty their performance tires where general does. I think if your going to spend the cash for bigger tires you should go 315. have you played with an online tire calculator to see what the difference in width will be between each size?

i think that a 315/35 is just too much beef for me. plus there is a chance of rubbing when its lowered and all. i guess im going to go with a 295/30 and 255/35. that will be good on those size rims right?
