Thumbs up

that will allow me to just use the tires I have and switch the rims and have them put on the car. I have no education on the spacers, fit, etc......so keep your response simple.
Pics of rims I can buy would be helpful, as I have never bought aftermarket rims before.

I LOVE THE BULLIT CHROME ONES....they have to BLING!

I just want to switch the rims and have them balanced and put on..................CAN THIS BE DONE?

I have a suggestion. Take your Bullitt wheels to a local wheel polishing shop. They will remove the painted surface, and polish the aluminum underneath to a bright shine -- similar to chrome, but in my opinion, better.

Also, to avoid maintenance issues on the wheels, have them clear powdercoated. Many wheel shops can do this for you as well. Total cost for polishing and powdercoating should run $75-80 per wheel!

If you are in the SoCal area, I can recommend a shop to you -- they are in Anaheim...just let me know. BTW: The wheels in the pic below are polished aluminum with clear powdercoat!

Try checking E-Bay. I saw a company in Calif that offered a chroming service of factory wheels on both an outright and exchange basis. 2005 Bullits were about $500 exchange, plus shipping. Outright purchase I think was $850.

Look at these. The first link shows a 17" polished aluminum wheel, not chrome, but is a nice looking wheel. The second link is a 2005 GT 17" chrome wheel. I just bought a set of the polished aluminum wheels for $198.22 per wheel + shipping. I will be keeping my stock Pirelli tires. I think the GT looks great with 17" wheels and don't see a lot of visual benefit for changing to 18", especially when you have to buy a new set of tires.

I have the upgraded 17" wheels, not bullits, so that is not an option. I needa whole new rim.

DUDE....I like those in the 1st pic. Can those go on the perelli's and to the car without any modification? Where did you get them for that price?

Ask Kevin (05stangkc) about getting them for you. Both those Ford wheels look great, what would be the advantages of ordering the chome over the polished?

PonyGirl - Bought them from the link below. Enter 5R3Z-1007-EA for the Factory Part Number search. I checked Ford dealers here in Phoenix where I live and nome of them could come close to this price. It is about $65.00 per tire less than what Ford dealers want.

If anyone wants another set of Pirelli's for their car I am selling mine, not the rims, just the rubber.

I did the same thing with the chrome 17x8 bullits off of the main company on Ebay and love the look/fit. Here's a link to the thread:

I am moving so would like to get rid of them as soon as possible. $400.00 CAD, that is about $76.00 a piece US. You would be responsible for the shipping costs.

Foxbat, I love the rims. So you just bought those, then put your pirellis on them and had them mounted? Thanks
