How fat can I get my tires?

Now, where can I get some of these on my 06 GT. How wide of tires can you get in the back without rubbing issues?

I know 305's on a 10.5 inch wheel work on our cars you could go wider but it will stick out past the fender we don’t have the inner fender depth the 04’s do.

So 305's with a 10.5 wheel is a safe maximum that I could go by?

And yeah, I do love the look of that cobra, looks real mean from the back!

I'd love to have that rear bumper for my 03 (without the embossed Cobra emblem of course).

I've seen some 335's, but I can't remember which forum I was perusing. 315's by Hireman and GI Joe both confirm it. Use caution with the backspacing and there'll be no issues. Joe was using Axis GT-R's. Bill, what wheels are those? They look great.

That looks awesome
Is there a way to get 315's with 18 inch rims? What offset is recommended?

Anyone have a link to a good place where I can learn about tire/rim sizes? What does 305/315/etc mean?

Thanks...

One of the better sites with rim/tire/offset and PICS! is bigcustomwheels.com. Gives all sorts of info on increasing tire and rim sizes. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, every one of those sites I've visited say teh largest we can fit is a 9" rim with 275 on the rear. Hell, you can put a 10" with 295 on the front.
