HIDguy.net kits

A buddy of mine bought the Autovizion hid kit and has a problem with the bulbs. Has anybody had any problems with the bulbs being loose in the headlights?

Did you have to double up the headlight bulb gaskets?

On my VVME kit the gaskets that come with the bulbs are really crappy. I ended up pulling the stock ones off and using them with the ones in the kit. If I didn't the bulbs would rattle and probably work their way loose.

No! We put them in last night and had to double the gaskets to get them to tighten up.

I haven't had any problems w/ mine... Well let me rephrase that: I haven't had that issue. I am having an issue w/ condensation in my R. Headlight --> But I'm pretty sure it is due to the seam where the glass meets the housing. But I'm not sure yet?

Where did you guys get the extra gasket from?

Just pulled it off the stock bulb.

I've had HID's from HIDguy.net for about 6 months now with no problems. They work great and no problems with condensation. My car is a DD and I don't have a garage. If your having problems I'd suggest contacting the vendor and getting a replacement. You shouldn't have to come up with a fix yourself.

I completely agree; but honestly what in the world are they going to say when I'm like "Hey I am getting condensation in my headlight do something"??? I am being sarcastic but I guess it is worth a shot... I mean I have a spare headlight I can replace the other one w/ but I really don't want to considering nothing is wrong w/ this one.
