Hi gang,

I just received my Xenon side window scoops and have a question. The kit came with the usual double-stick tape for both sides, but also with another bag that contains a tube of clear silicone, two metal bars and some more double-stick tape.

Of course, these "accessories" are not mentioned in the instructions

I also went to the body shop for paint & installation but they warned me about the Xenon's tendency to lift from the body on the upper,forward-facing point . I could witness that on a brand new GT they had just done.

These guys installed at least 10 Xenon body kits so I assume they know what they're doing, but I've never heard of any problems here, can anyone add their 2 cents ?

Many thanks in advance !

I'd call the vendor back and ask them what the bars are for.

the bars may be used to creat a solid mounting point on the louvers .. might be to correct the lifting problem...

The vendor (Steeda) has no clue. It looks like it is part of the kit since the bars are ** exactly ** the length of the louver's front part. Does Xenon have a website ?
