I need some help. I have a set of 9005 Philips Ultinon HID's for the fogs on my 05. ALso have a set of a PIAA fogs light on my lower bumper (cervinis bumper).. Friday night I noticed one of the PIAA's was out and then yesterday none of my fogs turn on... Saw that the fuse had blown so I replac3ed it and as soon as I did and turned oin the fogs the light came on for a secnd and then the fuse blew again.. anyone have any suggestions as what I should do???!! I really dont want to take it some pleace that's gonna charge me $60 per hr to look at it. Any idea's would be apprecitated.

This might not be the 'safest' answer. But if it was my car I'd try the next fuse higher (ie - put in a 20amp instead of 15). I'd also be real careful to watch my wiring and make sure I'm not going to melt anything and start a fire. If you lights are drawing that much power, then the wiring might not be heavy enough to safely handle it. I'm no pro, but that's what I'd try if it was my car.

thanks.. maybe I'll try that, the weird thing is I have had this set up for almost a year with no problems. The body shop hooked up the PIAA's to the HID"s and I'm wondering if they may be why. Thanks again for the suggestion..

You might have a short somewhere, so if the higher fuse blows, check the wiring.
