20's look good, but you will get better performance from the 18's. You have to ask yourself the question: "Show or Go?".

Same here... being that I got popped for a big ticket back in January... not much more for me on the go end of things. I ordered the Foose Nitrous Grays in 20" (20x8.5 and 20x10) as well as some Falken Beta FK-451 for tires.
Got some great pricing too... Saved about $300.00 to $400.00 over other places. Wheels, tires, spline lugs, mounted, balanced and shipped to me for less that $2600.00. They shipped today as a matter of fact.

I just put the 18" chrome Nitrous on my car. 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.
Beautiful rims. Would look real nice with Sonic Blue.

you think u could post some pics. just curious to see them on. im leaning towards the black, just dont like chrome that much . also if u dont mind me asking, how much were them?

IMHO Grey would look the best on Sonic Blue. I like the chrome, but honestly, I really liked the grey bullitts on mine. I just wanted bigger, deeper rims. I was probably going to be putting the Deep-dish Bullitts from Mustang Tuning on my Sonic Blue GT, with Grey centers, if it hadn't been totaled. Since I'm ordering a Vista Blue GT this weekend ('07) I might still get them. Chrome does look good too, I just like the Grey centers better. Of course, that's just my opinion.

This is only my second post so I hope I'm doing this correct.
They cost me $309.00 a piece. This is the only pic I have right now, this weekend I plan on taking some more and I will post them.

Thank You! I've had a lot of fun with it.

I'd go with the 20's and not the 18's ... there more proportioned to the size of the car and wheels wheel diameter ......thats just my opinion though ....

Get the 20"s. I personally love the look of my car, and tons of people compliment on how the wheels blend in so well.

Obviously the 18"s would not take as much performance away from the car, but I am really happy with the 20"s. Even though I'm running slower than a stock GT, the looks make up for that.

I say go with the 20s. The performance difference is negligable, and you probably will spend more time on the street, so who cares about a tenth or two.
Besides, Car and Driver did a 18-20 wheel change (with better tires) and recorded NO 0-60 loss at all. Granted, it was an a Cayenne, but still.

...yielding identical 0-to-60 and quarter-mile times. We expected increased skidpad grip, and it turned out to be a massive 0.88 g, up from 0.82. Braking from 70 mph improved significantly, from 181 to 165 feet. The up-size wheels sharpened steering response noticeably but worsened ride quality...although not enough to discourage us from preferring this setup.

Theory and reality don't always collide.
