Headlights

My headlights are all cracked so l'm looking at ideals for replacements. Does anyone have custom lights on their 05-09 stangs any pic's? l have been looking at a set with lightly smoked lenses with chrome reflector instead of the stock black reflector. l thought the chrome reflectors might throw more light then the stock ones cuz the stock lights throw no light lol.
Later Mike.

I'm assuming by "reflector" you're talking about the whole area inside the light housing, not the actual reflector surrounding the bulb which is already chrome/reflective. If so, chroming that outer area isn't going to improve light output a bit, it's strictly an appearence change. Smoking the lenses obviously isn't going to increase light transmission either.

I got a set of those on my car now. I asked them about fogs to match and he said he's not selling those headlights with the smoked lenses anymore. They weren't street legal and he didn't want any problems with selling them and people using them. I put an HID kit in mine and it made up the difference so that I'm back to about stock brightness now.

I don't know if you're interested in painted head light buckets or not , but I ordered a set from here. The price is pretty good for a painted set and if you notice at the top of the page you can get 10% off ...

Yeah I went to order a set (I think I was one of the first to post his ebay ads here) and they were gone. I had to go the tint route.

I have these lights on my stang. I have the chrome clear set, they light up the whole roadway from sidewalk to sidewalk.

Wow, not my cup of tea at all, but there's clearly people that like things like that...
