Looking for a 3rd brake lamp to mount high in the rear window by the headliner. Preferrably I'd like to find one that's a long LED like you see in the backs of Cadillac's, or I'd like to find one that's similar to what CDC has shown on the glassback, but I want it to go inside the window. I've been looking at a lot of cars on the road, and most long LED's are either in the luggage lid or mounted into the roof, not too many behind the glass. Any suggestions for one seen in the aftermarket?
TIA!

I'm guessing that you are going to buy the CDC ducktail? You might want to check with them because they are offering one for $45 and I have no idea what it looks like or if that is a fair price.

Good Guess Rich, I've already bought the CDC DT, just waiting on them to ship it... come to think of it, I'm in the same situation with my car!!!
The CDC lamp is going to mount on the package tray, not what I'm looking for. Thanks though.

Nope, that's not it. I wish too... I called and asked if I could get it and they said no, it will likely be avail only w/ the glassback. The one they are offering for the ducktail will mount to the package tray, no pics yet, they're going to email me when one's avail.

Lots of LED lighting options out there.
Here are some links, some of these are to motorcycle places, but a brake light is a brake light
The 1st link even has one that is a wireless module, designed to go on a riders helmet with no wires attached! This might be an option for those vert owners out there.
Using Google or such, search on LED light strips or LED brake or tail light, get tons of hits.

mustp51, thanks for the links. That one for Watson's Streetworks is almost what I'm looking for. I tried googling it, but got a bunch of crap and couldn't weed through it though... too many hits.
