Quick question, does anyone know the actual material the OEM (not the 3D Carbon one) GT500 ducktail/spoiler is made of?

judging by the look, color, weight, etc..
it seems to be made of exactly the same material that the front and rear bumper covers are made of.. urethane if i'm not mistaken

 

it is urethane.

 

Crap, my painter was asking what it was and told me he was hoping it wasn't urethane, something about it's more difficult to work with than some of the other materials like ABS.

as of today, i know exactly why your painter was concerned
i'm carrying out my GT500 conversion at the local dealer's bodyshop, and it can't get any better.
today i've put the rear spoiler on, and noticed it was kinda purple compared to the trunk..
while the fender (which was painted in the same run, with the same mix) matches 1000%

they will be playing with the paint mix to get a darker shade of grey with less purple for all the urethane parts to match
