GT500 Hood Without Vents

GT500 Hood Without Vents
Does anybody sell a GT500 type hood without vents?
I'd like to install a Super Shaker with a hood that matches the GT500 front fascia (I think the stock hood looks a little flat).
My fall back is a S281 hood. Anybody install a Colt knockoff? How bad is the prep and fit?

Super Shaker should get here sometime next week. Still up in the air on a front fascia, depends on what time of day it is...
Anybody guess how much work involved to remove the vents?
I could go the CarFX route (Shaker with vents)..

The only thing i hate about the CarFX idea is that any heat coming out of the vents will go straight into the SS and it defeats the purpose of the scoop. I can understand why you want to get rid of them.

Another bumper option is the T1 from TruFiber. The lines on the lower grill (like the PJ) don't match up exactly right. I'm not crazy about the fiberglass construction either.

The bottom grill just bothers me. It looks like it's smiling. The bottom on the 500 front looks better because the slanted headlights meet up with the lines on the bottom grill.
I need to Photoshop the s281 hood on a 500 front. Has anybody done this?

The lower grill does look a little like the GTR. The upper part of the GTR looks more like the 500. The Crager Mustang has that sort of look going on too.
Super Shaker should be here next week. I need to find a hood to cut.

Nice mustang Black GT500. I'm going to need a hood that I can cut into for my Super Shaker.
I've contacted a company who does a carbon fiber GT500 hood to see if they can lay a hood without the vents. It was unclear how they produce their hoods, so they may just lay the CF over an existing fiberglass frame.

Thanks man, I was very concerned about how these parts would look all together on the car, luckily, the end result exceeded my expectations.
Why aren't you cutting into your original hood for your Super Shaker?
If you are buying a different hood to use to cut a hole for your Super Shaker, I vote for the Foose aluminum "Retro '69" Hood.

It even has the frame work for the Super Shaker hole already in place.
