Hi all,

I am looking for the template to install a Stock GT hood scoop on my 06.

I just picked up a take off Silver Satin Mustang GT hood scoop for my car from a fellow board member, GTMark05, and since this came on his car from Ford there was no template.

Does anyone have one or know where I can get one? I imagine I could order one from Ford?

As a side note GTMark05 was great to deal with and out transaction was smooth as silk.

I am willing to bet Ford will have nothing to offer but a member here should be willing to do the deed. I do not have a scoop or I would offer to take measurements for you and provide.

 

if you have the scoop you can make one just get a piece of cardboard larger than the scoop, it cannot be too hard, and I would use a seamstress measuring tape to get the centers and a crayon to do the marking, someone who has a scoop can give you the measurements

 

It's getting the bolt holes drilled correctly that I am concerend about.
