As a result of hit and run rear bumper side swipe I took advantage of the situation paying the difference in bumper cover costs. Got the GT/CSservice part as suggested by Kevin ($200 savings). It looks good and the GT-H muffler tips look perfect with the cover.

I do have a question for other 05 owners who have done this. The lower center support strap on the GT/CS service bumper cover seems to be entitely different mounting arrangement than for the 05 GT bumper cover. How did you adapt the GT/CS one?

They fit right in there. I have the Shelby GT 500 fascia, but it is basically the same part as the GT/CS. My car is an '05. The new fascia does not have the center support that the factory '05 fascia had. But, I have not found there to be a problem. The fascia is stiffer due to the ribs, so no worries about it flopping in the breeze. No adaptation needed for my car.
