GT/CS chin spoiler??
I'm looking at the GT500 chin spoiler for 05-09 GT/CS front bumper, I was wondering if there is any other chin spoilers out there for the GT/CS front bumper, thanks

About 3 months ago I bought a GT 500 chin spoiler for my 07 GT/CS from CJ Pony Parts. Thank the Mustang Gods they take returns. It looked good in pic's but looked lousey in person. A spoiler on a spoiler--just didn't look good.
Just be aware--all the companies have free shipping, but to ship it back would have cost more than the part. 150.00 for the part with free shipping, but 165.00 to ship it back. Luck for me, I only live 3 hours from CJ Pony--took it back in person with no problem.

I trimmed the extra molded mounting serface off so my gt500 splitter would fit a little tighter. Sorry I don't have a pic of what I trimmed off, I only have finished pics....
Here is some pics that another TMS member took a while back...
You can see what they trimmed off. I trimmed the sides and also went a little deeper plus I trimmed the center so the whole splitter would fit tighter.
If you don't trim the splitter, well then you will have a gap and the splitter may not look as good.

I was referring to the pics of the stang above that one at the top of the thread, its super dark so hard to see, and i just got a CS bumper so i wasnt familliar with how hard a non-honeycomb lower grille is to find, seems impossible

My Gt-500 is Stock Stance with Only 33k On Her and the Only Rough Spot on her is the Lip of the factory Chin Spoiler. So Be Aware when Lowering Clearance it Comes at a Price. Parking Blocks Can Be Deadly As Well! Oh and I got to Drive up on a Couple of 2X4 Blocks to get a Floor Jack under the Front. Then There are Lifts at the Shop to Worry About! Just Saying!
Enjoy,
