Just got my car back from the dealer today (fixed a coolant leak) so I decided to take some pictures of the new blackout kit. I'll take some more shots when the sun isn't shining so much (couldn't get a good rear angle) and after I wash her this weekend.

Both pieces are made by GTS Styling (note the "GTS" on the tail lights ). They were $49.99 a piece and $10 for install so it was about $110 with installation. I don't trust myself with that kind of stuff so I had a pro-shop do it. I'm pretty sure they are street legal but I'm not 100% on that. One of my buddies had a white 2005 GT with this kit and it looked like a police interceptor and he never got pulled over. They're holding up nicely and I'm probably going to wash her this weekend and get some real nice pictures before it gets any colder outside.

The tail light covers are not street legal, although some cops don't care. You might be held liable in an accident if some says they didn't see your brake lights.

Exactlly. You will not likely get sited for having them unless you give them a reason to.

Bottom line is that these covers give any cop a reason to pull you over. Make sure you aren't doing anything your not supposed to while you have those on!

I really love that look you've got! I would do the same thing if I had a MG or TG car!

They look good. In Virginia, as I understand it, light nor license covers are legal - but as they say, they have to catch you first!

Felt like washing her today so I took a good picture this time. Took off the "GTS" logos too, never liked those things anyway.
