Yeah, based upon the massive amount of rock chips I found this weekend after washing my car, I'd say they are a necessity. My damage is done, but I'm never selling the car, so someday in a far off land when new paint gets thrown on, those GT500 flaps will be installed post haste. Man am I mad I never noticed that before!

I agree. no mudflags are pretty, they do a specific duty. To protect the body from kick up from rocks from the tires. That being said, the Jaeger bros flaps are the best I've seen. I like mine mine but remove then at car shows. Get a replacement from them

Either way the rocker panels are not going to remain pristine. The flaps will just trap grit that rubs on the paint.

Mudflaps are a good thing. I only have the rear OEMs but I know they're saving me time when I clean my car and therefore are saving my quarters.
Because of my tire size, I don't think that they're that noticable and I'll be ordering Jaeger fronts as well.

I love the look of the GT500 flaps, but they don't seem to be "robust" enough to protect the panel (JMO).

And a big to Jaeger for good customer service!

I run the yager brothers front flaps on my 05, and I think they were a great investment. as previously mentioned, the front wheels kick up as much dirt and crap as the rear wheels do. the only other thing is it can chip your rocker panel. so if your keen on protecing your investment, then get the front flaps

my 2 cents: mud flaps are a no no - unless you live out in the country. even then, they look bad. personally, i've used all types, and if i were to rank them, jaeger bros would be my last choice - cheap.

As you can see, the front needs em just like the rear. After this pic I bought the Jaegar Bros and they are great. They capture all the mud and dirt, install easy, and can be removed if you like for dry pavement or shows.

Hey I like ur pic, but still can't agree on the flaps - agree to disagree. SOmething I find funny, on the Jaeger Bros website it claims "these are splash guards, not mud flaps..." yet they are called JFlaps - maybe it should be Jguards - also their patent is for Releasable MUD FLAPS - huh? there's that word combo again... LOL - I've been reading some pretty bad reviews on myriad of sites, people say they're ugly break and cheap - that's what I say, too.
