I have asked the dealer not to install the bracket when the get the car because I have a different plan for my front license plate.
May I ask what's your plan?

I wish we could get smaller, numbers only, plates for the front so it wouldn't hang off the bottom of the bumper... is it illegal to cut the plates? Like shave the bottom edge off that in my case says VA beach?

Illegal or not, if I got a new GT, there's no way I'd put holes into my bumper or clutter it with a front license plate.

From: Oregon
Oregon has the same and I actually am a Police Officer, sooo ya, it sucks, but I have to have one on.

I bought this front plate holder. Excellent quality. NO DRILLING, install takes about 5 mins. Alum, or powder coated black.

It might say item has ended, but just send him a message and he will give you the link to the new sale for it.
