Ford logos coming off stock 17" wheels

On my 07 GT's stock 17" wheels, the blue Ford ovals are coming off the center cap emblems. Underneath is a shiny metallic surface. Did anyone else experience the same thing?

If so, what did you do to fix it? I'm thinking about removing the other 3 logos because the metallic surface looks sharper than the blue oval.

Funny enough I JUST saw the same thing today on mine. Fortunately I'm buying new wheels soon but I hope you find a fix.

Fix: Clear super glue. Or clear silicone glue. Or clear 3m doublesided superadhesive tape. Or....

/just so many possibles to actually fix it..
//What you're seeing is the laminate coming off the aluminized glue strip. The strip is left behind on the cap, and you just need to glue it back on.

It fell off while the GT was stored in the garage for about 4-5 months. The only "cleaners" I use are Zaino Z2 and Zaino AIO. The horse logo on my steering wheel started to fade about 1 year after I ordered the car, it's crap. A lot of other owners have experienced that fading as well.

I don't disbelieve you. I just find it very odd that my '06 doesn't exhibit these issues. Very odd indeed.

So your steering wheel emblem looks pristine? I recall it was a common problem to see it fade. I would have said my case (steering wheel emblem and wheel cap logos) was an isolated incident, but doing a Google search shows that 2011 owners have experienced it as well.

To answer the question: Yes, indeed, my Mustang on the steering wheel is flawless. I'm not sure how, but it is.

The radio buttons, though... that paint SUCKS.
