Basically I am looking for some information.
I would like to know if these LUXEON LED Fog Lamps (Type A) (https://www.diodedynamics.com/luxeon...ps-type-a.html) would fit in the SHELBY GT bezel:
https://www.carrollshelbyracing.com/...ONLY%29.html#/
If they do, which I am hoping, I also would like to know if anyone know if these halo's (https://www.diodedynamics.com/hd-led...-fog-pair.html) would fit inside the Luxeon LED Fog lamps.
If not what would you recommend?

Hey VGM,
I believe the Luxeon LED you listed is the same as the Luxeon LED I bought from Starkey. They measure right at 3.47". The Bezel Fog Opening measures just at 3.75 so you'll need to find something to fill the void for a snug fit.
Not sure about those Halos sorry?
Cheers

I would say that they should fit . They are 80mm and that equals 3.149 inches. That is probably the inside of the housing diameter. I would just call Diode Dynamics since both products are sold by them. They may even install them for you seeing as they make both of them. Oracle lighting has some waterproof halo rings that actually stick on the outside of the lens.
I am in the process of having the Diode Dynamics switch back halos installed in my grill fog light housings with tinted lenses. The guy that is doing them does not cut apart the housing. He heats them in an oven to release the glue.

Thanks so much you guys. I really appreciate all the help.
I have emailed DD about it already, just waiting to hear back from them.
But from what you guys are saying, it sounds perfect. I want to stay away from Oracle lighting. I bought halos for the headlights from them before and they died after 2-3 years. Little did I know NOT to buy COB led lighting...
Nemisus Thank you for the confirmation. That sounds perfect! Great minds think alike!
JimB. is it costing you more to have DD install the halo rings for you?
This is basically what I would be doing. I have already done my headlights once, and I'm in the process of redoing them with better halo rings from theretrofitsource.
So I have no issue fitting the halos myself. Just need to get the right stuff first.

Yes it is going to be about $ 90 to open 4 lights. Install the halos and reseal them back together. I did not like the idea of cutting the lens from the housing and then sealing them back together. I had Raxiom halos. They looked great at night but they were not very good during the day but I wanted to use the smoked lenses. I found a set of new Ford OE lights with minor scratches on EBay. That is why it is 4 lights. I think that the switch backs are going to be much better looking and they will blink amber with the turn signals.

BTW how long does it take to get a reply via email? I emailed last night and still haven't received anything yet.
Hey VGM,
Our friend Jim B. emailed me this today. Pretty simple way about mounting the DD or Starkey Fogs. Check it out!
Also, for what it's worth Jim also suggested a "turbo" reducer to fill in the blank space. Pliable enough to trim when fitment is done and makes for a nice tight fit. I will post up a link to where I bought them but its pretty much a 3.75 to 3.5 reducer allowing the fog to rest snugly inside and fill up the remaining space.

Thanks so much Nemisus. I look forward to seeing how you've done it.
I have to wait until I save up enough to buy the lights and halos... but I did purchase the lower bezel cause I have no idea how long it will last on the Shelby page.
Didn't want to take a chance and wait.

SIGH!!!!
So I send DD the email asking exactly whats in my OP and I get this drivel....
Ok I can understand that they can't tell you anything about an aftermarket part but the other stuff?? I mean come on, you have access to it. I really hate these "customer service reps" who do nothing but sit on their *** and give you these generic replies.
Oh thanks for telling what I already know. Can I really find the correct size from the many sizes of halos you have? WOW!! I didnt know that!! idiot! Why the hell do you think I was asking you for help in the first place!
Guess its up to me to do their job and figure it out on my own... Total

Thanks for reaching out! I am terribly sorry, but with the bezel being an aftermarket part, I cannot be certain our Luxeon fog lamps will fit, or the HD halos you linked will fit. That being said, we do have halos in many sizes, so you can certainly find the correct size:

If I can help with anything else, please let me know!

Those lights will work with those bezels. They are the same lights that Nemisus has. I have called DD and talked to some good people. I would call them and ask them what size halo would be best for those lights.

Here is the light that Carrol Shelby Racing is using with there bezel. http://www.piaa.com/store/p/187-LP53...Light-Kit.aspx If you scroll through the pictures there is a page showing the measurements of the light.
This is the Luxeon light from DD. https://www.diodedynamics.com/luxeon...ps-type-a.html

I can tell you that The PIAA light is basically the same size as the Luxeon. It is the exact same diameter and that is the critical dimension. How long or deep the light is really not a factor.

Jim
Thanks for all the replies. Based on all yours and Nemesis' post I am able to figure out what I need.
Edit: They replied to me with a very informative answer.
Seems like there is a black tab on the bottom of these fogs that will not allow the halo to sit properly. Plus I was told opening the fogs will void my warranty. hummm.
Thank you Diode Dynamics for all your help. I truly appreciate it.

Just and update...Ive decided to forgo the LUXEON fog lights and go with the ones from The retrofitsource only because of the tab that is inside the fogs. That will prove to be such a hassle when trying to install halos in them.
